Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily beverage stock take from the outlet and verifying whether the sales from the POS do tally with the items sold.
- Assisting the Head F&B controller in all his tasks.
- Prepare daily food and beverage report and ensure that they are within the budget. • Check and ensure that no item is issued out from the store without requisition approved by the H.O.D
- Do surprise sport checks from all the F&B outlets
- Check and verify voids, discounts and complimentary from the POS and ensure there is no pending bill
- Conference and function billing and also do follow up of the function to ensure all procedures are followed
- Controlling the Events and Conference numbers to ensure all revenue is charged.
- Random check of menu prices and POS price do match whenever there is price change
- Participate in inventory stock taking and prepare variance analysis for the same
- Performing any other duty assigned from time to time.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree / diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Hotel Management.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in F&B cost control in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory systems, POS, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and integrity.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and hotel management systems (e.g., Micros, Opera, Material Control).
